The first impression I had with Life League Gear is the amazing Service Excellence I received. I sent a message, from the website, with a question; within less than an hour, the owner, Vinny, replied. He answered my question and was willing to accommodate me, personally, on a Saturday, although their business hours are Monday - Friday...exceptional service!
I purchased the Chiefy, commercial w/Black monofilament. Very sturdy and well crafted. I have used other lobster snares, at the same price point, that seemed sturdy but could not handle the vigorous work we put them through. I have not used the Chiefy yet, as it is December but cannot wait to use it this summer when lobster season opens. I have no doubt it will perform exactly as I expect it to, if not exceedingly better.

Very pleased with the purchase of my Lobster League Catch Bag. This high-quality bag has a few technical features that I really like. One side has a durable printed material with a bright design that really stands out when laying on the ocean bottom. This material also protects your legs from the usual cuts from lobster spines that protrude from the regular all mesh bags. Another feature I like is the little, high-viz orange side pouch with velcro closure. You can store important little things in there like a lobster measuring gauge, or a tube of anti-fog for your mask, or an extra weight pouch, or even a spare mask strap or fin strap - just in case. The handle has a curved ergo design that fits nicely in your palm while swimming. And the heavy-duty zipper closure allows you to quickly and effortlessly dump the lobsters out of the bag and into the boat box in one easy shot, without having to wrestle them out one at a time like other cheap mesh bags. All in all, I think this bag is definitely worth the few extra bucks over all the other lower quality lobster catch bags out there. AlexG.

Took this bag out to CA recently for a lobster dive and it worked great. It’s simple to use, held up to some pretty rough treatment, and held my catch securely. I never had any anxiety about how it would function and to my surprise, it wasn’t a hassle to manage it hanging off my weight belt. On top of all that, the print looks great. Would definitely recommend picking this up.

The wire is too weak and will not stay in place but fold up rather than holding its form. So after writing a not great review, they reached out and offered to fix the problem. Outstanding customer service by Vinnie, i believe is the owner. Definitely recommend working with these guys.
Hello Thomas. Call us anytime. The beauty of our snare is you can change the loop. We offer three types of loops. Send it in or come by and try our options if no luck with your current setup. We will walk you through what's best for you based on how you prefer to lobster. Our two mono and one steel wire all have their specific uses. The wire is more for snorkeling and overhead catches. It is also more floppy on the site. The mono can be molded with heat and has more of a 90 degree loop. Call us anytime and we will make it right for you ~ Vinny

Theses gloves are incredibly durable, comfortable, and have great protection against lobster spines. Love the feel, and quality. Best dive gloves I have ever owned.
